September 9-10, 2005 · · DHS Homecoming Weekend

Saturday, September 10, 2005 - Page 16 - Banquet at the Dalton Country Club:  After the interviews, some folks came over to the photo area to review past reunions.  The posters that were at the bottom of the easels were put up high for a better look.

Lane, Laura, and Susan get a good close-up look at a few of my 1990 35mm pictures from our 25-year reunion.

Some folks feel that relaxing effect of a good meal with dessert and relax to enjoy it.  Becky Thomas is enjoying an after-dinner glass of wine and some conversation with Lee Johnson about his career in the U.S. Air Force.

Jane and Jeanne are together again, still catching up on recent experiences as Carolyn Bennett looks on.  You can tell by the look on the face of Ray Buck, he must be thinking about the upcoming flight home to Phoenix, Arizona for him and his wife Mary (in the red outfit).

Without the microphone, the exchange between Ronnie and Theresa shows the lasting friendship that we have all seen between them.

Folks circulated to other groups so as not to miss this opportunity to see old friends and acquaintances.  Jane Maples shares a few moments with Beverly Hackney, while Andrea Higgins chats with Beverly's husband, Dan Sessions.

Back on the dance floor, Bennie has put on some "twisting music" and the results are obvious.  Frank Patterson dances with Beth Langley in the background, while Gary Satterfield is paired with Julie Sievert.

Bennie Livesey poses for my camera as he is in his musical element as our D.J. for the evening.  The 1965 yearbook, the photo albums, and the cameras on the table are mine.  I brought them for backup, just in case the digital camera failed, or someone wanted to sit at their table to see my copies of all our past reunion photos.
