October 13, 2016:  I spent the past few days clearing the moss, twigs, and limbs from the yard.  The man from Ellington came to service the air conditioner Wednesday afternoon. Chris Rose came Thursday to mow the lawn.  You can see Chris has mowed this area at the end of his work here.  I took this photo to compare against the view of this tree before the storm.  I compared the two images and another one I just took tonight (October 16) and it appears the tree is leaning a bit more toward the street after the storm.  I do not feel it is going to fall over.  Trimming the tree near the top and on the west side would help to reduce the load on the tree and should help keep it up right.  Or, it may be time to replace the tree which you mentioned when you visited here a couple of years ago.

My big yard waste can with wheels has been emptied by the curb and the sidewalk awaiting a pickup which I have heard could be a few weeks from now.

All the neighbors have piles like this in front of their homes.

I finally looked UP to see the tree canopy has been thinned out as all that stuff on the ground had to come from above.

I stepped a few paces past the pile in front of the house and took this photo to get some perspective of the whole street.

Except for the moss on the roof and in the gutters, things are getting back to normal.

October 16, 2016:  I spent a lot of time today to get this part of the web site up to date.  As I was finishing the pages, I realized I could add a few more photos taken today for comparison to some of the things already posted since page 29.  Here is the view of the tree philodendrons at the front of the house, now relaxed and with all the leaves looking for the sunlight. I stood on the sidewalk which gives me an upward view.

Here is the view looking from the west side of the big tree near the southwest corner of the house.

The tall palm tree near the NW corner of the lot is easier to see in this photo.  The palm fronds at the top of the tree are barely visible in the shadows of the oak tree from the property next door.  The tall palm tree trunk is covered with climbing vines.  The shorter palm tree in front is also hiding in the shadows.
