July 26, 2007:  Day 7 - The flight to Kenai, Alaska for a salmon fishing trip.  This wide shot from Wendell's camera reveals an American Bald Eagle perched atop a dead tree by the river.

Terry took several zoom shots of the eagle, but this one is the best of them.   Can there be any doubt as to why this is our national symbol?  What a majestic creature this is!  This is one of the greatest fisherman of them all.  He catches his meals out of the river "on the fly" with talons that get the job done very well indeed.

Boats on the river and cabins for weekend getaways, or year-round.

River front condos?

A real log cabin on the water, two boats, and an four-wheeled RV under the blue canvass behind the boat.  I had to take a good look at Terry's original high-resolution photo to determine all that.
