Wendell Folks Alaska Trip - Page 42.

July 25, 2007:  Day 6 - In the hangar at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Anchorage, Alaska.  It is a day off from flying.

Terry took this picture of the handing over of the keys to Cessna N8438S to the new owner.  Ken flew this airplane with Wendell when he came to Chattanooga for the pre-purchase inspection.  Since he could not get the time off to come pickup the airplane at Wendell's home field, he negotiated a price for Wendell to deliver the airplane to Anchorage.  That delivery trip is what all these pages have been about.

With the airplane now empty of all personal items, the guys got a chance to see the salmon running upstream.

Since Wendell did not have optical filters on his digital camera, I did some post-processing on this photo to simulate a polarizing filter removing the reflected glare from the surface of the water.

This is Ken's home in the Anchorage area.  Terry has picked up a rental car since he will be visiting some friends in the Anchorage area.
